What is the minimum booking time?
Studio rentals are typically booked in half-day or full-day increments. Shorter bookings may be accommodated based on availability.

How do I confirm a booking?
To confirm your reservation:
Review and sign the contract
Provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI), if required
Submit payment prior to arrival
A security deposit may apply.
Please send your call sheet or production schedule in advance.
Will you hold dates?
Yes. We can place a soft hold on requested dates.
If another inquiry is received, you will have 24 hours to confirm before the hold is released.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation terms vary depending on the scope and duration of the booking.
Please contact the bookings team for detailed policy information prior to confirming.
Can I tour the studio before booking?
Yes. Studio tours are available by appointment.
Contact the bookings team to schedule a walkthrough.
HOURS & ACCESS
What are your hours?
Our bookings team is available Monday–Friday from 9:00AM to 6:00PM PST.
Studio access is available outside standard hours based on booking schedule and approved overtime.
How do guests and crew access the studio?
The main entrance is located on Aaron Street, one driveway past North Ray Yoga.
Detailed arrival instructions and a location map are provided prior to your booking.
Where should talent or VIP drop-offs arrive?
Drop-off instructions are provided in advance. A reserved space may be arranged upon request.
PRODUCTION DETAILS
Does my booked time include set-up and breakdown?
Yes. Your reserved time includes load-in, set-up, shoot time, breakdown, and load-out.
Additional time must be approved in advance and will be billed at overtime rates.
What are your overtime rates?
Overtime is billed as follows:
1.5× base rate from 6:00AM–8:30AM and 6:30PM–9:00PM
2× base rate from 9:00PM–6:00AM
Overtime is billed in full-hour increments.
Can we film in the space?
Yes. Photo and video production are permitted.
Please notify us in advance if recording audio so we can coordinate accordingly.
Is the studio soundproof?
The studio is not fully soundproof. Please notify us in advance if your production requires controlled audio conditions.
Does the studio have blackout capability?
Yes. Skylights are equipped with electronic blinds that can be fully or partially closed.
What are the cyc dimensions?
WIDTH: 40ft
DEPTH: 20ft
HEIGHT: 14ft
What is the electrical capacity?
The studio is powered by three electrical panels.
Power distribution varies. Please request a power diagram prior to your booking.
Do you have Wi-Fi?
Yes. High-speed Wi-Fi is available (approx. 600 Mbps download / 50 Mbps upload).
For dedicated or hardline internet needs, coordinate in advance.
SPACE & FACILITIES
How many restrooms are available?
Stage A:
1 restroom
1 shower/changing room
Stage B:
1 restroom
1 shower
2 multi-stall restrooms
Additional restrooms may be arranged with advance notice.
Is there a private space for meetings?
Yes. VIP rooms are available as an add-on for meetings, calls, or production coordination.
Can we use the kitchen?
Yes. The kitchen includes:
Oven
Stove
Microwave
Refrigerator
Ice Maker
Coffee machines
Assorted dishware and cutlery
Please return the kitchen to its original condition.
Accessibility?
There is no ramp or elevator on site for our Stage A entrance.
Stage B has a ground level entrance.
EQUIPMENT & FURNITURE
Can we move or use the furniture?
Yes. Your crew is responsible for moving and returning furniture to its original placement.
If Hype staff is required to assist, a $500 handling fee applies.
Do you have backdrops?
Yes. Seamless backdrops are available.
Please submit color requests at least two (2) business days in advance.
Do you offer equipment rentals?
Yes. Select equipment and props are available onsite. Additional gear can be coordinated through partner vendors.
Can I bring my own equipment?
Yes. Outside equipment is permitted.
Please inform us of electrical requirements in advance.
Note: The loading dock is approximately 4 feet above ground level and requires stair access.
Can I store items overnight?
Overnight storage may be arranged with prior approval.
A member of your team must oversee delivery and pickup. Hype staff is not responsible for handling client materials.
Can you coordinate equipment pickup or returns?
Yes, for an additional fee. Contact the bookings team with your equipment list.
EVENTS & POLICIES
Can I rent the space for an event?
Yes. Please provide:

A custom quote will be provided.
Can we bring food and refreshments?
Yes. Food is permitted. Please maintain cleanliness throughout your booking.

Can we serve alcohol?
Alcohol must be pre-approved.
A $500 refundable security deposit is required. All service must comply with local laws.
Can we use confetti, glitter, or smoke machines?
Prior approval is required. Additional cleaning fees may apply.
Is nudity permitted?
Nudity is permitted for still photography with two (2) business days’ advance notice and prior approval.
Adult film production is not permitted.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are not permitted.
If your production requires a trained animal, please contact the bookings team in advance.
PAYMENT & INSURANCE
How do clients pay?

A signed contract is required for all bookings.
Do I need insurance?
Yes. A Certificate of Insurance (COI) naming:
